The Majestic 12 at this current time is Greenville's only movie theatre and it still operates under the ownership of the couple who built it in 1997. The movie theater was enlarged in 2000 and presently holds 12 different theaters that vary in size, along with two concession areas and two restroom areas. All the theatre seating is either rocker style or recliners with a grand total seating area of 1242. Per public documentation the theatre has 32,920 Square Feet of floor area and is surrounded by a large concrete parking area on 10.171 Acres. This is a prime location for a movie theatre or other commercial redevelopment, being near Interstate 30 and fronting Joe Ramsey Blvd which is the route of Highway 69 into and through Greenville.
